Deal Structure
Create property deal structures using legal entities and vehicles with differing forms of ownership, capital stacks, acquisition, and management methods

Development is a serious business and it needs serious legal structure considerations. The deal structure can affect liability in difficult situations, tax implications, and business entity structure. We learn about different entity options and that no one option is necessarily perfect. It is important to understand all entity options and how they can be used to make everyone and their personal assets in a deal feel safe, trusted, and secure. We learn about options like joint ventures, limited liability companies, general partnerships, S & C corporations, limited partnerships, real estate investment trusts (REITs), and more.

Below is an assignment done for LDEV 668 (Land Development Practice) where I needed to create a business plan that was for a residential development project in North Texas. This business plan needed to show all parts of the intended project from market analysis, to financial feasibility studies, to partnership structure.
